Toddler Times

It seems like the so called "terrible two's" are starting to rear their ugly head in our household these days! I am constantly telling Todd that what Noah is doing is typical of a kid his age! Then it hit me that I haven't read many blogs on the matter. I am sure it is b/c well we all wanna show our kids in the best light and focus on their strengths. And I do too, but I just wanna let y'all know that there are toddler moments too. I am still trying to figure out the best way to handle the arched back, in the floor, crying moments.

At first I thought I would research and read about it and see what the "experts" say. Well, then I realized something I learned a bit ago. I am trusting my mommy instinct in teaching Noah about emotions and how to express them in a healthy way.

It is in these moments that I realize how much God loves us! He might not like what we are doing or how we are behaving but he loves us the same!! Just like I love Noah!!! So this post is to say Noah I am your momma, I am here for you, no matter what!!

So who else is willing to chat about the lovely toddler period's crazy moments?

Of course, there are also super sweet moments as well. Most outweigh the bad moments. How Noah will repeat what I say with the sweetest voice. Or how excited he gets and giggles over simple things like reading his favorite book (cows in the kitchen). I especially love the chats we have after he may have done something wrong. I love how he says he is sorry ever so sweetly and gives me a kiss!!
