Wordless Wednesday! + words...HA!!

Smiles from Noah!!!!!!

Okay maybe not such a wordless day..haha When have you ever known me to be wordless!!! A fellow blogger is starting a new series of 'a day in the life' for mommas and I plan to start that next week. She asked a few questions so I thought I would answer them and see if any of you mommys would like to answer them too??????

What is the most surprising thing to you about being a mother?

Even though EVERYONE told me about the whole not sleeping and being sooo tired, I never even imagined how tired I would be!!!! I am a girl who loves her sleep. I love naps, I love sleeping in, I just LOVE me some sleep. So needless to say I really miss it and hope it comes back to visit me very soon..hehe Another thing that surprised me is something I finally realized about myself. It is hard for me to deal with change and it takes me a while to get used to something new. I am still working on transitioning into being a mommy!

What are some tips you would give to new or soon to be mommas?

  1. Go with your instincts! Trust them!!! It took me a while to trust myself and now that I do it usually works!! And if something doesn't work for you and your baby don't sweat it, try something else until you find what works for you both!!!
  2. Oh and the biggest thing I learned was that ALL mothers have "mom guilt" ALL moms think they could always be doing "more"!!!
  3.  Be prepared to have a day (or two) when you don't even get to brush your me I have sooo been there!!!
  4. Nap when the baby naps, trust me you will be more sane if you do!!!
  5. Enjoy every second, even at 2 in the morning going on NO sleep, take it in, b/c you will look back and wish you had taken in those moments!!!

What are your top three baby products?

A play gym, bouncy seat, and a boppy is a must for me! These are the products that let me get things done around the house!!
