31 weeks!!

31 weeks!!

I think for the first time today Noah had the hiccups and I could feel them. And he kicked my ribs today really hard for the first time. I can tell he is getting bigger!! We only have 9 more weeks and I am starting to get ancy!! Plus, my showers are coming up (my first one is this upcoming Saturday) and I am excited...but a bit nervous too. It just means that he will be here right around the corner. And while I cannot wait to meet my son, I will be sad to not be pregnant anymore. Not to mention I am nervous about becoming a momma for the first time!! It is all soo exciting and overwhelming at the same time. I mean...9 more weeks!!!! That isn't that long. I know feel the sudden urge to make sure everything is done and ready :D

We have a lot to look forward to this week. We go back to get another 3D u/s on Tuesday, so I am hoping I will have some good pictures to post. And on Thursday I have an OB appt. so this week will be a great week b/c I will get to check on my baby boy twice :D YAY!!! And then our first shower is Saturday at our old church!! FUN..FUN..FUN!!!! Oh and let me leave this post on a funny note. Todd and I went out to eat tonight and the waitress asked me if I was pregnant and I said yes and she said "well I could tell by your face"!! I am not sure that this was a compliment, HAHA!!!!

I was really unhappy with someone in my church when they told me they could tell I was having a boy because my face was fat(!) Let's just take it as you are glowing and look so happy! You really do look so cute! Isn't it so much fun to have your little fella in there moving around? Jakob got hiccups at least once a day in my tummy and I was just reminded every time of the miracle growing in me. It is overwhelming when you're getting ready to have the baby, but just remember that Noah's never done this before either. Babies are very flexible and they go with the flow. You'll learn as he grows. Hope you have an awesome baby shower...that will help you be able to relax too cause you'll see all the stuff you have for Noah and feel more prepared. Just enjoy these last weeks! They go by way too fast. (or for some of us not quite fast enough!) -Thank the Lord you don't look like you're swelling or anything!
