No Go!

Well, I tried!!! I tried to switch up my u/s appt. to thursday b/c Todd is off all day Thursday! However, my witch of a nurse sucks so she said NO! Todd has to go into work at 3 on Friday after the u/s and I have been worried that what if it is bad news again...then I will be all alone to deal with it. And I will only want Todd to be with me!!!! I should have known that my nurse would say no...she isn't exactly one to care. And she just made me so upset! I had left her a voicemail last night so she would get it this morning so she just called me a few minutes ago. And her words were "no ma'am you cannot do your u/s early" Well.....poo on you!!!! I will be SOOOOO GLAD to be done with this place. I hope that I remember correctly and I only have to be with them for one more u/s after friday's u/s.

I know that the hormones don't help any with how I am reacting! So if you are thinking okay a little overdramatic Dana...then just remember I am hormonally challenged at the moment :D And I know that I am b/c the other night when janet jackson came out on the VMA's for the tribute to MJ I cried like a baby. And I wasn't a huge fan. Todd was looking at me like I was crazy!

On a lighter more fun note. Todd and I are throwing a halloween party and on the invites it says that you must dress up. So I have been wondering what the heck am I gonna dress up as!!!! I initially wanted to do dorothy from the wizard of oz and Maggie could be my toto. But all the costumes I find look like stripper costumes. Any suggestions????

Yay!! Thanks for adding me Dana. I also cried when Janet came out. I don't know what got into me either. I think I just saw her and then him in the backround and thought how sad the whole situation was. That nurse of yours is really a witch. I think you can start looking into your first appointment at the ob can't you? Sending tons of prayers your way for great news on Friday!!

Sorry about the no switch-er-oo. Bummer. That sucks.

Costume ideas? I'm terrible. If I ever have to dress up I usually go as a hippy (is that how you spell that?). It's pretty easy and you can just find some flow-y costume. However, one year hubby made me a sandwich costume. It was pretty cool. Out of cardboard with green lettuce (crep paper) and a tomato. Call if you're interested in the details...

We're all praying that you get good news tomorrow, so try not to get too upset or worried about the u/s. I will be glad when you don't have to see those people anymore. Make sure you choose a good OB (!!!)

Wishing you nothing but wonderful news tomorrow! As for the Halloween costumes, that is why I hate dressing up fro Halloween because all of the adult costumes look so trashy (and I don't have the body to wear a costume like that). I think Pace and I are going to throw an 80's themed party for Halloween. That way we can just go to Goodwill to find our costumes!

Yay, tomorrow's the big day!!! Can't wait to hear from you! I don't think you're over-reacting, but I'm surprised that you are surprised by witchy-poo's consistent lack of compassion. Sounds like this is her first time to have authority and she glories in it. SAD!!! Anyway, I'm not much help for the costume, we don't celebrate halloween, but I think the hippie is a good idea and then you could paint a big yellow smiley face on your tummy to flash people with so baby can be involved too. HeeHee! Seriously, we are praying for you big-time! Love ya! Arlene
